All health care associated with the egg donation process is carried out by independent health professionals retained by the donors and/or intended parents. Any medical professionals, mental health professionals or attorneys listed on this site are for reference purposes only and are independent third parties, not employees or agents of WCED, and no endorsement of such persons listed is made by WCED. Please also note that while egg donors and intended parents may utilize these listed persons or select other persons qualified in the surrogacy field, WCED is not responsible or liable for selecting any medical professionals or attorneys for egg donors or intended parents. In case of a medical emergency, egg donors and intended parents are directed to contact 911.
Separately, WCED does not guarantee any particular result including, but not limited to, suitability of the match between intended parents and egg donors , the viability of the pregnancy, and health of the resulting child. While it tries to achieve the goals of intended parents as well as egg donors, the nature of surrogacy entails many factors outside of WCED’s control. There is no guarantee of success.
